TONY TIME / PRIVACY
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Tony Time (Chinese name: Tony计时器) and this support website handle information.
Effective October 4, 2026 · App version 1.0.0
1. Developer and contact
The app is provided by Haifeng Zhao. For privacy questions or requests, contact card163@hotmail.com.
2. Information on your device
No registration or sign-in is required. Competition templates, level parameters, timing state, participant counts, history and operation events are stored locally. Device roles, display preferences and connection addresses are also stored on your device.
The current version has no developer-hosted account or cloud synchronization service and includes no advertising, behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking tools. Local competition records are not uploaded to a developer server.
3. Local network synchronization
For multi-device display, the app reads the device’s local IP address and transmits competition names, levels, countdowns, statistics and sound-alert events between the controller and connected displays. Connection addresses may be stored for reconnection.
Your connected devices receive this information in real time. Use a trusted local network and share pairing details only with intended displays. The current connection uses local WebSocket and does not provide end-to-end encryption.
4. Device permissions
- Camera: Used only to read pairing codes. The current app does not save camera images as photos or videos or upload them to a developer server. Manual address entry remains available.
- Local Network: Used to connect and synchronize controllers and displays. Single-device timing remains available without this permission.
You can change permissions in system settings at any time.
Subscriptions and Apple payments
Apple App Store processes subscription purchases, billing and management. The app uses StoreKit to verify Apple-signed transactions and current entitlements on your device. It does not send receipts, Apple Account details or payment information to a developer server. We do not receive your payment card details.
Apple processes transactions and account information under its own privacy policy and may provide developers with sales and financial reports in App Store Connect. Restoring purchases asks Apple to synchronize your entitlements. Cancel automatic renewal in your Apple Account subscription settings.
5. Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any screenshots or diagnostic information you choose to include. We use them to respond, troubleshoot and handle your request. Please avoid sending unrelated sensitive information.
Our email provider processes support messages. We retain them only as needed to handle requests, follow up on issues or meet applicable obligations. You may request deletion using the contact email above.
6. Website and service providers
This website does not add advertising or its own analytics tools and does not require an account. Hosting and network providers may process necessary access logs, including IP addresses, request times, browser information and requested paths, to deliver pages, protect the service and resolve faults. Email, hosting and network services may process information outside your region.
We do not sell personal information or use support information for advertising tracking. Necessary information is processed by relevant service providers or disclosed when required by applicable law.
7. Retention, deletion and control
Delete templates and history in the app, or delete the app to remove local app data. Your operating system may back up app data according to your settings; backup copies are managed through that system service and your backup settings.
We cannot remotely access or restore your local records. Contact us for access, correction, deletion or other applicable rights requests relating to support messages or website personal information.
8. Children and updates
The app is not specifically directed to children and does not request age or personal identity information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through support.
We will update this page and its effective date when features or information practices change, with appropriate notice for material changes.
